2008 was certainly the year of the “open web”. OpenID, OAuth, Portable Contacts and Open Social all gained momentum and Yahoo!, Google, MySpace and Facebook are now on board. I think it’s safe to say 2008 moved quickly and 2009 is showing no sign of slowing down.
